If you are very ill, have physical limitations or cannot travel to Salem, Massachusetts, you can receive what is called Distance Reiki. As with any service, you will need an appointment. However, you will be receiving Reiki wherever you are physically located. Set aside about 45 minutes for your first session.
Select a time when you will be uninterrupted by anyone children, spouses or friends. Find a place where you can lie down comfortably either in bed, on the floor or in your favorite recliner.
At the time of your appointment, you will receive a phone call to discuss your intentions and to address any questions about Reiki. Then, you will hang up the phone and go to your comfortable place and the session will begin.
All that is needed to perform distance Reiki is your full name and location (city, state and/or hospital). It is helpful to have a photograph (via email), but not necessary. Distance Reiki works conceptually much the same way as prayer. We are working at a spiritual level, where there are no time or distance constraints.
The results are very often amazing.
